Regional Arab Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education 20/22/9/2010

The Regional Arab Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education: Policies and Programmes was held during the period 20-22/9/2010 under the patronage of Mrs. Asmaa Al-Assad, wife of Syrian Arab Republic President, and in cooperation between the Ministry of Education/National Commission for Education, Culture and Science and the Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States (Beirut).

The conference identified its aims in:
- Enhancing capacity building related to policies developing and practices improving in the field of early childhood.
- Exchanging knowledge and new experiences in the field of early childhood.
- Proposing tools and mechanisms for improving quality in the field of early childhood care and education.
- Preparing the responsibilities in the Arab region for the international conference about early childhood which will be held in Moscow during the period 27/29 September 2010.
