The Syrian Arab Republic will participate in the works of the EXB's session 192 which will be held at the organization headquarter in Paris during the period from 32/9/2103 to 11/9/2013. The Syrian delegation includes the following gentlemen and ladies:
- Dr. Farah Solaiman Al Motlaq -Deputy Minister of education
- H.E the Syrian permanent delegate to UNESCO Mrs. Lamya Shakkour
- Dr. Nidal Hasan- the secretary of the Syrian national committee for science, education and culture.
The EXB's agenda will include many critical items, such as:
- Reviewing reports of H.E the Director-General on implementing programs that were agreed on in the general conference.
- Follow up UNESCO external evaluation and maintenance of field network.
- The five resolutions related to the Arab region.
- Administrative issue.
- Budget and program of the coming phase and the mid-term strategy.
- Implementing the United Nation Decade for literacy for the phase 2003-2013.
- UNESCO's colleges of grade one and two.
- The Organization work mechanism
- Application of the organization technical documents.
- Preparation for the session 37 of the general conference of UNESCO.
